Cross-border multicultural tourism fair

In the event organized by the “Ana” Charity and Assistance Foundation from Suceava at Shopping City Suceava, the multicultural tourism offer of ethnic groups from Suceava County and the Chernivtsi region was promoted, through artistic performances, photo exhibitions, the broadcasting of documentary films, the distribution of informative materials , tastings of traditional products and the organization of demonstrations of the creation of ethnically specific traditional handicraft products. The demonstrations were attended by representatives of Ukrainians, Poles, Lipovian Russians, Hungarians, Germans, Armenians and Jews from Suceava County and Romanians, Poles, Germans, Jews and Armenians from the Chernivtsi region.

The Charity and Assistance Foundation “Ana” from Suceava organized this event in the Auditorium in the E building of the University “Ștefan cel Mare” Suceava.

4 events to promote the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic groups in Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region

The Romanian Youth League from the Chernivtsi Region “Junimea” organized 4 events to promote the intangible cultural heritage of the ethnic groups in Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region, in 4 centers for displaced people from Chernivtsi, Herța, Igești and Storojineț in the Chernivtsi region. During the events, cultural-artistic performances were organized in which the representatives of the ethnic groups from the Chernivtsi region presented their intangible cultural heritage, distributed promotional and promotion materials and served the participants traditional culinary products specific to the ethnic groups from the Chernivtsi region.

The association “Juventus” from Suceava organized the round table with the theme “Valorization of the intangible cultural heritage of the ethnic groups of Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region through common tourist products and services”. The event was attended by representatives of ethnic groups from Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region, cultural institutions, educational institutions specializing in tourism, travel agencies, NGOs, accommodation and public catering units, local and county public administration from Suceava county and 6 experts (ethnographers, historians and tourism marketing specialists from Suceava and Chernivtsi), who discussed ways of jointly capitalizing on the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic groups in Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region.

The “Multiethnic Intangible Cultural Treasure” Festival

The Charity and Assistance Foundation “Ana” from Suceava organized at Shopping City Suceava a festival to promote the cultural heritage of 7 ethnic groups from Suceava county and 5 ethnic groups from the Chernivtsi region through artistic performances, photo exhibitions, the broadcasting of documentary films, the distribution of materials promotional materials (leaflets, albums, DVDs) and book launches. The event was attended by representatives of Ukrainians, Poles, Lipovian Russians, Hungarians, Germans, Armenians and Jews from Suceava county and Romanians, Poles, Germans, Jews and Armenians from the Chernivtsi region.

Project launch conference

At the launch of the project in Chernivtsi, which took place with a certain delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the participants were the presidents of the four partner associations, representatives of the press, members of local government bodies, the Romanian diplomatic mission accredited to Chernivtsi, leaders of the Romanian associative environment in northern Bucovina and experts of the Office of the Joint Technical Secretariat in Ukraine.
