“Ana” Mutual Aid and Charity Foundation , in partnership with Romanian Youth League from the Chernivtsi Region “Junimea”, Juventus Association and Non-governmental Organization „Media Center BukPress” implemented during the period January 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021 the project “Bucovinian Ethnic Special Treasure” code EMS ENI 2SOFT / 2.1 / 46, funded by the European Union through the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine 2014-2020 through the European Instrument for neighborhood (ENI), priority Restored cultural and historical sites that enhance the cross – border touristic potential of the eligible area. Total project value is 369,934.62 Euro, of which 332,939.62 euros represents funding from the European Union and 36,995.00 euro project is co-financing from partners.

General objective of project :
Development of cultural tourism in historical Bucovina by facilitating and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of the ethnic communities living in Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region.

Specific objectives :
– conservation of the intangible cultural heritage of 7 ethnic groups in Suceava county and 5 ethnic groups in the Chernivtsi region through research and documentation activities and creation of digital databases with the intangible cultural heritage specific to these ethnic groups;
– promoting and revitalizing the intangible cultural heritage elements, with touristic potential, of 7 ethnic groups in Suceava county and 5 ethnic groups in the Chernivtsi region through cross-border cultural events and printed, audio-video and online materials;
– the introduction of the intangible cultural elements of the 12 ethnic groups from Suceava county and Chernivtsi region in the internal and international tourism circuit, aiming to increase the number of tourists“.

Final beneficiaries:
Organizations of ethnic groups, public institutions, education and cultural or citizens from Suceava and Chernivtsi region, involved in activities or aware of the importance of preserving the multiethnic cross-border intangible cultural heritage.
